Vintage movie poster Flash Gordon’s trip to mars

I found this Flash Gordon poster and it’s super cool Australian version and the ink is so rich, I just wanted to share bc it’s a rare version but mostly cool! And probably fake but I don’t know haha

Don't really know posters, or where to begin on how to identify real from forgeries.
Regardless that Flash Gordon looks terrific!
Love the classic theme, and vintage extended vertical layout.
Name? Three Sheet? (cause you fold them three times top to bottom?)
Seems it has been mostly discontinued, I think it started disappearing in the late 70s early 80s.
Were they more designed for theater entrances, doors?

Ah YES that metropolis is awesome!
I dont know a whole lot but i do know this would have been a playbill i think by its measurements although the top blank portion had been cut off when they put it onto archival canvas. The US version of this movie poster was arranged differently than the Aussi..
