Waitlist conversion before processing/shipping?

Hi, question for SS and/or forum members:

Is it possible for a waitlist order to be converted into a pre-order before the item is processed/shipped? I'm on the Superman PF exclusive waitlist, and was hoping I would find out if it would convert before the shipping date so that I can grab a regular if I need to.

yep its possible as far as I know.. good luck

They used to convert all the time, but I think it's a bit less frequent now that most of the more expensive pieces have an NRD.
