holy santa claus sheeeeeeeeeeeeeet . that is beautiful.

who the hell made the couch and afghan?

The couch was made by a woman who makes Barbie furniture in EXACTING detail. The cost for all the furniture is roughly $300-350. If you are interested PM me and I will give you her info. I don't think she would appreciate 20 emails from different people at the same time without warning otherwise Id just post it here.

The afghan was made by an old lady in Canada who does miniature crotcheting. THe furniture lady (Billie Jean) also makes them but they are less 'fine' in the needlework. I had the Canadian lady make me 4 versions before I finally felt I got the colors right! LOL

I love you have a diorama of "action" figures sitting on a couch. :lol

Nice work!

I know right! LOL. Theres only really a few 'action' moments in BrBa tho right? I will say that the more I collect 'action figures' the more I realize these aren't toys in the literal sense. They are art work. I prefer the term 1/6 scale replica! :Lecture:

Absolutely stunning! Great attention to detail man. :rock

Mother of god, that's amazing. That flicker TV set is really neat.

Thanks to both of yoU! The Television did come out awesome! When I set out to make this Diorama I KNEW that the TV had to work and it had to cast a glow on the scene just like in the references. So i ended up buying another Barbie tv set just like the one I used for the Bateman apartment and adding a remote control colorchanging LED bulb. With the right diffusion and light reflection sheets inside the TV the effect is great!

Awesome Omar, where did you find the rug? and what is the lenght of the wall behind the couch?

Are you thinking in put the bowls with snakes on the table?
if yes i found this site may be useful
https://www.chefginas.com/mainpage.html

The wall behind the couch is approximately 20" The couch it self is 14.5" The side table on the left "4". Leaving about .5" of extra 'room'. The windows on the back wall are centered to the couch and therefore off-center in the space.

The rug is from ebay. I think i just searched for "Southwest Dollhouse Rug/Carpet" or something like that. Wish I still had the link but I bought the rug ages ago.

And of course Im planning on Bottles and snacks! LOL. Ive got some stuff already but I will look at the link! Thanks!

Just incredible!!!!

Thanks guys!

Probably the last interior detail to go in before the curtains will be the ceiling. Crossbeams and planks like in the show. I left a hole to accomodate more wiring if It was gonna be too dark, but I think the TV and windows are enough lighting. Maybe for an alternate look?

A few updates...

Working on the door. Its tricky... going for Rustic weathered/rusted on one side and interior finished on the other. Have yet to really get to far on the weathering. Need to paint the door hardware. Obviously.

I made the rustic handle out of a brass ring i got in the build-your-own-jewelry section of the craft store. Imagine the visual of a 6'0" grown *** man shopping in the Michael's jewerly section with a little red shopping basket. LOL. The lengths i go to for the love of the hobby! Still end result was worth it I think.

Thanks! I will be making a lot more Dioramas for sale in the future as Im going to start duplicating each Diorama i make for my personal use by building 2 or 3 identical copies at a time.

Dedication to details. That is what I like.

Thank you sir!

Looks awesome wake/

did you make the door or buy it?

Thanks man! The door is actually a playscale door I bought a while back. There's nothing to it really and I could've probably made it myself but this one is patterned similarly to the one on the show so I went with it. Of course, being a playscale door its not exactly 1:6. As a result its ever so slightly undersized. But it works well i think.

Ahh i see . Looks great so far buddy.

I was wondering where the heck are you putting all these massive dioramas? I remember Wakes Wall of 1/6 , you had a ton of Detolfs with scenes in each of them.

These big dios you're doing now , Are they behind glass?

Yeah, I sold most of those Detolf displays. I have a bunch of empty detolfs i need to figure out what to do with. LOL. I bought a PAX wardrobe from IkEA. Its enormous. I bought the sliding doors that go on it but need to order the acrylic sheets. So in effect, yes they will be behind glass.

Amazing work, Wake. I wish I could do stuff like this. Some weekends I just pace around the house looking for something to do. I'm almost enthused when the cars need washing. Making dios would be a great hobby. I'm meticuous enough for the job, just completely and utterly devoid of talent. :lol
