Is that Joe Satriani? I saw him in a very small privateish concert. That was truly amazing.

The performance Pearl Jam gave at the VH1 Rock Honors The Who gave me chills. Reign O'er Me was absolutely amazing.

progmatinee those band are pretty good. I especially like the sounds of the first band pain of salvations.....reminds me of dream theater in a way....kinda

Yes, Pain of Salvation actually opened for Dream Theater several years ago on a European tour. They aren't as technical as Dream Theater, but they are very good musicians. They are very theatrical as well. They are kinda a mix of Dream Theater, Pink Floyd and Faith No More. I recomend the album "The Perfect Element" as their best album.

Dream Theater toured with Satriani several years ago as well. That was a great show, with King's X opening to boot.

Ok. Here is a rare one. This is maybe my favorite 2:30 minutes of instrumental rock. Happy the Man's "Service with a Smile".
