Quick question for everyone who has given Old Ben the water treatment. Anyone had any issues with his dark brown turtleneck "bleeding" through to his light robes in any way? Figured it'd be safer to ask than learning the hard way....

No one's helped you out with this yet?

I haven't heard of anyone else having a problem except the shirt material so I doubt anyone has done it. take them off, wet them and see if they run.

To be on the safe side, water treat the dark shirt. Let it dry. Then do the outer robe.

Ah, I've done something along those lines before, I just wasn't sure if that's what it was called. and thank you to my fellow freaks for not beating me with 12inch Hasbro figures for asking.

hey man, i was gonna ask the same thing. sounds simple - splash some water on em and they look better. might have to try it.

I don't like Dave's dunk technique. I just spray my figures' clothes lightly with one of my wife's hair misty-izer things and style the clothes when slightly damp. No need to totally submerge figures in water IMO.

I didn't have any problems with Ben's shirt, I pretty much left it alone and just treated his tunic.

So you spray his Clothes while still on? Do you take them off and then re-dress him to get a better fit?

I have quite a few figs but haven't opened them yet do to moving... so any advice is much appreciated.

Thanks! :D

You spray them while on the figure so they have more weight and drape more naturally. When they dry, they retain that shape.
Just be careful with any leather goods as they may shrink.
