Is there a tutorial on weathering armor. I have used the search option, but I cant find a thing. I loved what Darkartist did to his armored General Kenobi, I am inspired to weather mine. This is my first re-paint/customizing so any tips or suggestion would be appreciated.

I'm no expert by any means, but the Master Himself, Hurricane let me in on a little secret to weather Clone armor. I think it looks awesome this way.
First, paint all the armor black. Then paint white over it. Then paint whatever other colors are needed.
Then, lightly scratch off the top layer of white, to expose the black underneath. In my opinion, I think it looks way better than painted on scratches.
Just my 2 cents. Hope it helps!

Thansk man. I just have to figure out how to remove Kenobi's armor, without breaking it.:D

When I used to have some of the old Hasbro figures my perfect recipe was using a roll of black hockey tape. I just put it on the side of the roll and rubbed it on where I wanted some BD.:D

You can also make gouges in the armor... and then rub paint into them to get a damaged effect. Also leave some color on the rest of the armor if you want it to looks a bit dirty as well.
