Just ran across this and thought I'd post it for any fans of Weird Al Yankovic... evidently he isn't allowed to include this song in his next album but you can listen for free: Pitiful

EDIT Just noticed the title makes it look like I think Al is pitiful... that wasn't intended :monkey3

Pretty funny..... I love Weird Al... his stuff is great. I grew up on the videos and have a few of the CD's. My favorite was the "headline news" one he did.... :lol

Yeah, I was a big Wierd Al fan back in the day. The first two cassette tapes I ever owned were a copy of Weird Al's greatest hits and Aerosmith Pump. I ended-up later buying all the Weird Al albums and no more Aerosmith ones :lol

Strangely my only tape player was the Talking Alf (like the Teddy Ruxpin)... so I had to listen to Aerosmith and Weird Al through Alf! Man the 80's were f'd up times!!!

That's gd funny gb. :rotfl :rotfl :rotfl

I actually saw Weird Al right before he released his first album. His claim to fame at that time was "Another One Rides the Bus." It was part of a musicfest in Milwaukee, and the only other songs I remember was "Yoda" and "If I Could Make Love to a Bottle." I can't believe he's still around doing what he's doing.

Do you know why? Doesn't seem particularly offensive or anything, compared to a lot of 'music' that's out there today.

I would guess that Mr Blunt or his record company doesn't want this song paradied by AL. Much like what happened with Omish Paradise and Coolio LOL. The way I see it you know you have made it when Weird Al calls and wants to do your song. The title of this thread actually made me come in here to defend AL nice to see some love instead. My favorite songs by him are "You Don't Love Me Anymore" and "Good Old Days".

Yep, JJimmyjamesf is right. I guess the company wasn't thrilled about the parody and wouldn't authorize it. Some people just have no sense of humor.

Screw 'em then!! It's still out there in circulation and we can enjoy it. Honestly, Weird Al hasn't hurt my opinion of James Blunt's original song.

I hated that overplayed piece of crap already!!!! :mwaha

Very nice, the eBay is a classic and the new one is great... especially the video. My favorite Weid Al songs would have to be Good Old Days, Yoda and You Make me.

Oh man, so true. Who liked this crap? Blunt, Blunt, sounds like...

All his early stuff was great. Haven't heard any of the latest. But a few of my favorites as a kid were "Livin with a hernia", "My Bologna", "Eat It", "Buy Me A Condo" and "I Lost On Jeopardy", well you know what, his whole "In 3-D" album was great. That is right, I said album, not disc or CD.
