WGP has three classic Galactica heads coming out this year so far. This is a relaunch our our 2012 range starting new, with heads tweaked, neckless, and larger. Serious Starbuck is available now, Apollo is printed and at the casters, and Boomer is at the printers.

The face is equal in scale with the Majestic/Amok Time heads, though the hair is more accurate 70's and much larger.




The master with other heads for sizing. The head here is not as low as it was finally made, as shown above.

Is there going to be more detail in the hair? The faces look excellent, but the hair looks a little chunky.

DEFINITELY. That's why they are still WIP at this point. Hair detail happens last after the face is done, what you see now is just "placement" rough hair to help see if the likeness is there.

They have threads for the individual characters too and the WGP sculpts in general.

The main BSG thread in in Customs. I started on e here because not everybody goes to customs, but I am very lazy in updating the list in this one (sorry!). The actual list is on the customs one and I keep that one updated (from both threads) religiously.

Then everything we do is also in the master WGP thread.

By the way, as I finished going through my morning e-mails the Galactica heads with finished hair was in them, so expect to see those on here in a few hours!

Here is the latest revisions on the Galactica heads where Chu did tweaks, then added eyebrows and detail to the hair. Chu is working 14 hours a head of us and he's like lightning, so he's often several steps ahead of us.
