Here is the Bad-*** Kirk revision Chu did once he heard we had to reprint him.

No offense to anyone, but i really liked the first one better. Something not right about this one. I'm not even a big ST fan, but after seeing the first version, I really considered getting this head, but after the revision, I'm not. It's still a great likeness, I just thought the first one really captured the Shat.

I'm also thinking you should take out the improvements. The pudgier Kirk seemed more accurate. In those days they had girdles instead of personal trainers.

Agreed, the earlier one (the wider face) seems more accurate.

I've been wondering what was going on with this line (and BSG). Both heads look great but I personally prefer the thinner head. What is the status on all of these? Rand, Sulu, Scotty, Uhura, uniforms, etc. Things seemed to be rocking and rolling a mont ago but has been quiet as of late.

I like both heads, but am leaning more towards the new head. The new one has more details and the Shatner features look more defined.

At first I was like great! Then I looked at the old. I too vote for the old. But I'll take either, hoping to have it soon. I have a hungry painter waiting for it.

Any status update on the Kirk heads? Eagerly awaiting the Bad *** Kirk. I'm going to try and make my own captain's chair, so I have other things to do. The wait, though, is hard to take.

We're going to have another go at reprinting the Kirk heads in a few weeks.

Both the new and old BA versions are excellent as they capture Shatners look great compared to any other head sculpt ever made of him. Do wish the new ones hair line wasn't as far back and his chin not so prominent and more like the old versions as he always has had a pudgy face. Patiently waiting for it to be Spocks turn as that is a definite yes for me. I'm dyin to get a Leonard Nimoy sculpt of this kind of quality.

I thank everyone for they patience on these. Scotty, Sulu, and the Kirks are on their way to be printed/reprinted, Rand is at the molders having her neck hole sized.

Pics of the finished Sulu/Scotty soon. And the first Kirks print attempt so you can see what it looked like.

Good to hear. I'd rather have them done right than done fast. Looking forward to seeing these, and hopefully Uhura, Spock, Bones, and Chekov in the next round.
