I heard this song in a weird French movie I watched on Netflix. About a week later I saw Django Unchained and one of the songs in the film, to my great surprise, actually contained parts of this one.

Out of curiosity, what is your favorite? I remember you had a more recent Gahan as your avatar once.

Black Celebration.

I had Gahan from the "Barrel" video, because the painted eyes are so creepy awesome. But Ultra wouldn't be in the top echelon, despite a few DM classics. Probably top 5, though.

Halo is my favorite DM song, though, so that would bump Violator up for me, if it weren't already so amazing.

What's insane is that, imagine in the mid 80's someone told you this bunch of **** heads would be one of the longest-lasting pop groups to come out of that decade. I'd never believe it. But they are firmly in my top three bands ever.

Same could be said for the Beatles in some ways. Their early stuff is good for what it is, but they revolutionized popular music after becoming the most popular band in the world doing the sugar coated stuff.
