What custom figures/bashes do you have planned for 2011?

There was a cool thread asking folks what figures they were planning to buy in 2011, so I thought I'd start one here for custom figures.

So what do you have cooking for 2011 and how far along are you? How long have you been working on it?

Feel free to post pics of complete or partially completed figures!

Here's my list (pretty much started all of these last summer or so):

1) X-files Cigarette Smoking Man - I have everything but the body, sideshow head's being repainted.

2) Brad Pitt from Se7en: it's ready to go, just waiting for the Sunohc head to be shipped from Greggo.

3) The Rock: clothes are ready, got a wcw big gold belt for him (replica micro belt), head (from a Jakks 12" figure) is being shipped, need a body and shoes.

4) Training Day Denzel: only have the trenchcoat, need a collarless shirt, head's being repainted

5) Jack from Lost: I've bought all the clothes for one so far, just waiting for the head repaint.

6) Stone Cold Steve Austin: I have the head (1/6 heroic) and the body (T-800), just need clothes. I'm hoping to put an Austin 3:16 logo on a Terminator shirt I just bought

7) Bret Hart: I have 2 maximum aggression figures being customized, but I haven't started on a new clothed figure (my last version was a dud...)

8) Young Indy: Almost done, just dyed the medi outfit green. Painted the hair, just need to add blood to the chin and fix the belt.

9) Morgan Freeman from se7en: just need the head to be painted. got the outfit ready to go

I seriously hope to retire from customs after these guys are done, this hobby is like a drug addiction!

Here's my first for 2011. I have another one in the making just waiting on the painted sculpt kind of quite about it for now. But they will be my last customs seeing as building custom figures cost more then the going price of a hot toy which is now my primary objective for collecting. I do look forward to up and coming projects from others. So good luck to all the customizers and buyers Happy New Year.

My mercenary bash is coming to completion, just need a couple more of accessories for it. After this will be my Dexter (got the head from Xenoviper, haven't found any good painter locally ). And that's it for me.

Good idea for a thread, i've got a lot planned...

1. Cobb from Inception - got the Feng head today, need to sort out the outfit

2. Custom TDK Batman - currently in the works

3. Alfred from TDK - want to improve on my existing custom with a more accurate head and better clothing.

4. Custom Dr. Crane from BB

5. Custom Ninja Bruce from BB - need to improve on my existing custom

6. At least 2-3 dios / mini environments for my TDK/BB figures...

Started on Dec 16th, (first custom sculpt finished) will finish his open mandible hopefully this weekend for opening of his comission.

Starts next week as well, gathering materials for the next commission.

The two up above are for myself also but these are a few that I'd like to start up and have for my collection.

Which Trench coat are you using for Training day Denzel ebayarea ?.
I was going to start that bash but haven't found anything I could use that's close.

Yeah, there's nothing out there that's just like it unfortunately, but I'm using the gestapo ttl trenchcoat.

I plan to hot glue the inside flaps of the jacket so there's only one set of buttons like Denzel had. I also will hot glue that extra collar (I taped both sides in to test it out and it looks really good, very close).

I also got rid of the belt.

The only problem is the sleeves, I have to figure out an easy solution to that.

When I'm done with it I'll post it.

New and improved Jack.
Finally finish off Juliet (Body is all done but still waiting on the head sculpt to get released).

Hoping that a few others join my Detolf. Ben's waiting on a head (still). Hurley is still in the works (body wise) and I hope to get to a Charlie started. And if any sculptors decide to release and other LOST sculpts, I'll be jumping on them of course!

Skiman, what head are you using for your Rock custom? Can't wait to see it!

Gonna have a go at with my hands, I've seen some heads out there but mainly just old school wrestling heads, so I'll be attempting one head with several tweaks for all his movies.

I figure I could kill those three movies with one stone, different smirks, hair, etc...

Well that's the movie replica that we are going to replicate only in 1/6 form, I'm starting that after the Nomak sculpt 2 is finished and basic casting and molding for him gets moving.

I'm gonna be hella busy creating 10 full figure NEMESIS's

It'll be worth it though and I'm up for the challenge.

Nope. Money's a little tight with the first kid and all. So I'll be pittering here and there with my customs, grabbing bits and pieces. I've actually given some thought of trying my hand at painting him myself though. Daunting to say the least.
