What do think happens to all the prototype Hot Toys figures?

You know seen in teaser photos and various comic con conventions etc. I'm assuming Hot Toys makes a number of these prototype figures.

I'm assuming they have them all displayed at their headquarters/offices, and any extra protos probably go to the people who worked on that said figure.

Given to some specialized stores like Secret Base, travel around the world going to conventions, keep them at their offices et cetera.

I would hope should go to the artist who worked on them. I would like think said probably at some one's house or desk proudly displayed. The most unfortunate would be filed away back in storage until can be released from the phantom zone.

yeah I guess some people keep them and most of them are in display somewhere at stores like Secret Base. I've actually seen figures with discolored outfits in display in japan so I guess they keep them there until they melt

I have inquired about this recently and it is against company policy (and licensor terms) for them to sell/auction them off. So I guess they're in a HT warehouse somewhere similar to the above.
