What happened to Darkshadow and Firesidecollectibles

Hey guys - I remember a few years back - darkshadow and fireside collectibles were popular among the thread - what happened to those two?

Also, I think there was this lady who had like tons of Sideshow Weta pieces from LOTR, I can't recall her username or name, but it was pretty interesting how she had like tons of colleciton, plus i think she bought like a huge lot from someone here.

Darkside Collectibles (DSC) is no longer. Adam (the owner) decided to let the business go. He's still here in the forums, however.

I know I usually don't hang in the LOTR forum, but I wanted to chime in about the awesomeness that is Razor's Edge. All my transactions have been very smooth and the few times I've e-mailed Mike with questions, he responded quickly and courteously.

Razors Edge is great. And I've had good experiences with Alter Ego when I have purchased from them too. It's sad that Dark Shadow and Fireside have gone, but we've still go two great people to buy from.

Mike is definitely my favorite retailer to do business with. In fact I only buy from him or Sideshow direct unless I really have too. I hate that GG is starting PGM exclusives. That means to get the extra pieces I will have to order through them instead of Mike. I bought my two black pauldron sandies from Mike a few days ago along with the regular version of the Luke Jedi PF. He is excellent and I have never had a problem with him and he has always been willing to help me out if something comes broken or anything like that. Truly one of the best all around retailers.
