I was asked on an email from SS if I requested a packout.
Can one of you gents inform me on what a packout is?

Hmmm, I've never heard that term used before. However, I do know Sideshow does offer an in-house inspection of a piece prior to shipping, if the buyer is worried about breaks, painting errors or other common production problems.

It's possible they're asking if you'd like them to open the box and take a look at the item before they ship it. I believe the downside is that you can't return the item if you select that option.

Anyone know for sure?

If you requested your collectible be shipped in a second brown shipper then that would be a packout. This means your item (collectible + art box + brown shipper) would be placed in a slightly bigger brown shipper box and sent to you. Customers have to request this prior to the item shipping to them and will incur additional shipping costs when asking for this.

Hope that helps to answer your question. If any of you folks have any additional questions regarding this, please do contact our Customer Service department, and they'll be able to help you. :)
