Chrome is probably the safest. Firefox isn't bad--I really like the Adblock Plus addon.

firefox was fine for me and it updated and now it freezes every day, is super heavy on the memory and i got tired.
I've never really used any other browsers, I don't know if I should used Chrome or Opera, is Opera good?

I never use IE unless for some crazy reason a website won't load properly in Firefox. IE is just pure crap.

BTW---Chrome is now the top web browser. Pretty crazy

firefox was my favorite but it was using 1100 Mb (which seems like a lot), it started freezing like crazy, just pissed me off, I don't know about Google Chrome, the whole Google is big brother now thing,

same here, exactly the same happened, then flash kept crashing daily, couple of facebook games I like to play wouldn't load at all, pages froze, Youtube Froze, it is such a mess for me I have to quit it, but I don't know whether to go Opera or Chrome, Im not sure I want Google to track and record my every single movement online, using google for searching is bad enough,

Does chrome have a spell check feature? The spell checker built in is the biggest reason I use Firefox.

The plug-in containers blew monkeys and if you left too many tabs open, you'd have to reboot because of the memory drain but I still used FF until they cheaped out on HTML5 and started having issues with Flash, so I switched to Chrome.
