Here is the first Sideshow Newsletter I ever received from 11/30/2001...

HOLIDAY DRACULA FIGURE FOR SALE!
This email is being sent as advance notice to Sideshow customers that we will be placing 150 of our 12" Holiday Dracula figures on sale on December 5, 2001 at noon PST. The price will be $125 each, which includes shipping.
Only one figure per customer.
Many of you may be familiar with last year's Holiday figure, Frankenstein in red pajamas with "Ho Ho Ho" tattooed across his butt. The 400 Frankenstein figures were not sold, but given away as a celebration of last year's Holiday and the success of our Classic Monster program.
Because of the over-whelming request from collectors who wanted to purchase the Holiday 2000 Frankenstein, we have elected to offer a small portion of the Dracula figures for sale. Only 500 of the Holiday Dracula's have been produced and only 150 of them will be sold. They will most certainly be one of the celebrated Dracula figure collectibles of all time.
The 12 inch Dracula figure comes wearing blood red pajamas with a fold-down butt flap which reveals a message on his backside that reads '........', well you'll just have to see for yourself. Each box sold will include a special printed Holiday ribbon sleeve that has a "To & From" tag signed by Sideshow Toy. In addition, each of the 150 figures will be autographed by Bela Lugosi, Jr.

This is a unique opportunity to purchase one very unusual item.
And here are the terms:
- The item will be posted on the Sideshow Toy web site on December 5, at noon PST .
- Only 150 figures will be offered for sale.
- The item will be signed by Bela Lugosi, Jr.
- The item will retail for $125 inclusive of shipping.
- The item will be removed from the site once all 150 figures are sold.
- NO phone orders
- NO fax orders
- NO mail-in orders
******* Only one figure per customer. If our site does allow customers to order multiple quanties, ONLY 1 ITEM WILL BE HONORED.
- Your credit card will only be charged when the item ships.
- The item will ship on or before Dec. 14 via UPS.

That picture is cool.. I did the same thing (and one of these days I'll buy the dang figure too.) I think its kind of neat to have the old newsletters. Its like looking back at old computer game magazines to see what was state of the art back then.

I've been keeping mine in a folder... but only go back as far as 2004. Not sure why I've kept them, but there's so much storage that it really doesn't take up much room
