I need a 1/6 wheelchair like the one Dr. Strangelove uses and can't find anything.

If anyone knows of anything or is capable of building such a thing from scratch and would like to help me out on commission get in touch with me.

Thanks for any help.

I'd like one to make a Professor X using my Patrick Stewart sculpt.

Heres a quick one from Google to give you an idea what it looks like, I can probably get more from my DVD.

I think the Becky Wheelchair would be your best bet. That or fashion one using the wheels of a 1:6 bicycle.

I've been looking around for quite sometime now for a 1/6 wheelchair, and indeed the barbie wheelchair is the only one available in the market. With a proper repaint might look less cartoony. I was even thinking of removing the plastic seat/cushion and make one either re sculpting it or using fabric, but never gave it a shot.

You should go for it! I would use an air dry medium like Apoxie. It's pretty easy.

I think the hardest part of this wheelchair is getting the right wheels because you would need to rig it so that it has the handle on the wheels for the person riding it...you know for rolling themselves around instead of being pushed like the FDR wheelchair. The barbie chair would not have the right wheels for this type of wheelchair but the FDR one does because of the spokes. Still needs that outer circle though.

I was planning on doing a Gary Sinise as Lt Dan Taylor from Forrest Gump, but first I have to sculpt the head :p . Thanks for the tips!
