where is the new hot toys body?

hello everyone

i have recently bought the resident evil 5 chris redfield
and the figure is fantastic but i don't like muscle bodies


so the question is do you guys want to see a new truetype

they could use the wesker body with the bigger arms
it would look perfect on chris and many others
and they used it on blade

i sent an email to hot toys about the same thing
but if more people want it the faster it will be done

thought i'd start this maybe HOT TOYS will see it and get it done

The Wesker/Blade body will prolly be sold in blisters.

Do you really think that will happen EvilFace?? I hope its true but I dont know it it'll happen. As for this thread. There is a new body coming out. That's what the VIP body was released for. To show us the next base body. As for release date no one know yet.

Aww I thought HT were actually getting some new bodies in. Misleading title.

I never knew what was wrong with the old truetypes but HT are always the ones to innovate.

i saw the HT vip body :chew it's just what i was talking about.

but what do they mean by VIP

will they sell it or is it a one time thing
i heard they give them away last christmas to vip members

this just what i need i hope they bring them out soon

Welcome AWOS. you may get some negative responses here because your title is misleading it implies HT is doing new bodies which we all want... I would change it.

In regards to your thoughts HT is known to turn any new molds into TTs for sale... I'm sure that they're going to offer some new different TTs with all these new molds.

I think they have said that they will be bringing out the VIP body as a blank. Hopefully pretty soon - the narrow shoulders are sold out everywhere.

I haven't heard anything about the VIP being released, but it would only be logical. I do hope they use a different "Buck" head as we've already gotten Miller before and keeping this head for the VIP version keeps that special.

With the exception of the snap-on leg pieces, those bodies are pretty much the same as the VIP body.

I dropped by Toys2 today again to snatch something for a quick fix and asked about TTs again. In his opInion HT is falling behind schedule so they will likely dedicate all their resources to the main releases and not as much to TTs well at least when they release Arnie I will be able to free up a TT narrow

The body is different. The VIP body has nipples and ripped abs. I have both but the VIP is current out having
Work done but not anymore. So I will post pics of them side to side. The weaker body has wider shoulder and is taller. The lower body is the same.

I could see them using it on their Aldo Raine figure.

It's a new TrueType body from Hot Toys. Certain people got one sent for Christmas last year.

This is the one if I'm not mistaken:

It has these things you can clip over the thighs so they look bigger. I believe they improved the knee-joint too, but I'm not sure about that...

I'm still hunting narrow shoulders. It'll give me a chance to make different size figures.
