Which of these would you buy if Sideshow did them in 12" form? Vote for as many as you like.

I'd particularly like The Lone Ranger, The Phantom, and "modern" Flash & Buck.

The Lone Ranger, without a doubt---but supposedly that's Gore Verbinski's (Pirates) next project so that can't be too far away in one variation of the character or another.

The Shadow would also be pretty sweet.

Yeah, I'm hoping Bruckheimer's Lone Ranger gives us "a new hope" for some figures. Oh, and that he does it well ...

Let's face it, if Darkman and Reservoir Dogs are viable licenses, surely the above ones are too (unless the royalties are prohibitive).

Well I only voted for Phantom but I'd probably go for The Shadow too. Just go for generic faces or something. DO NOT TAKE THEM FROM THE MOVIES! :lol

I thought the movie versions were fine. I love The Shadows look.

I like the looks but I wasn't a fan of either actor. That's why I'd rather a more generic look. Plus you could probably go right to the syndacates or whomever owns the characters and not have to go through actor approvals. Heck, throw in a Dick Tracy and I'd be over the moon. Again, strip based not movie based. (Although movie based Tracy wouldn't bother me one bit.)

And despite Clayton Moore being associated with The Lone Ranger, I'd prefer a generic version. I grew up with the cartoons, comics and Gabriel toys.

The Lone Ranger and Tonto (Clayton Moore and Jay Silverheels)
Flash Gordon (1980)
Buck Rogers (70's show)
The Shadow

I voted for the original Flash and Buck - the latter is already being made by Go!Hero.

I'd like to see other classics such as the submariners in their undersea outfits from
20K Leagues Under the Sea, and Bowman in his spacesuit from 2001. Those
Twinch squad figures are fantastic but too expensive.

Nice call! He's missing from this motley crew, and would probably be my first pick!

PS-- how about a DT remake with Bruce Willis? Somebody jump on that ASAP...

Nah, I honestly think DT with Beaty was just about perfection. Sure it was kinda cheesy but I love it still and think it was a great film adaptation of the work. Really wish a company would move on a 1/6 scale line. I wanna say someone did a licensed Tracy in the scale around the time of the film but I can't be totally sure. I vaguely remember seeing something for it in Disney at the time, but I was about 5 then so it could be my memory playing games with me.

Lone Ranger. A Clayton Moore version would be a plus, but I'd get a generic version just the same.

I dream of a little bit more hard-edged Tracy with the Sin City visuals. :monkey5

And of course, Bruce Willis
