I am thinking of getting one of the pf's. Price is pretty high now on both, but if i were to get a good deal i'd buy one of these. Love to own them both but €€$$!

For the people who own both indy's...which on should i get? Rotla or tod indy?

best,

Robert

Mine is not falling apart and looks so good as the first day...

I always loved this PF. So iconic, great likeness, great pose...

That's good for you, mine wasn't either, but I would never recommend something to someone that has well documented history of deserve deterioration. The fact is that Sideshow used glue on every single piece, so every single piece has the potential to suffer the same damaged many already have.

I'm waiting for TLC PF, if it ever comes. :whip I really hope. I never bought TOD when I had the change, days of consideration and then I decided to wait for the change that they have to deliver TLC one day. :yess:

Anyways, between TOD and ROTLA, I would go for TOD. :clap

I heard there were paint differences in the tod version. Some piants were great, some bad. Can anyone confirm this?

I have all three Indy PFs and none have any paint problems. All look great. I think I like the Raiders Indy the best.

I think the Raiders version is the best sculpt of Harrison Ford and my favorite one of them all. I have all the Indy PFs, so It would be nice to complete the circle with a Last Crusade Indy, but for now I am saving up for the Legendary Scale Indy Figure. I hope they show him at SDCC:yess:

The Temple of Doom one is easily the best Indy PF so far.
....and there are no questions of materials falling apart on that one.

Though I own and like the Crystal SKull PF I'd wait for the inevitable Last Crusade PF if you need a jacket wearing version.

...or if you fill like spending $2000 for a $600+/- statue, the upcoming legendary scale version.

Both are great. But the ROTLA has the flaking issue and that is bad!! As far as likness goes I give that to the TOD. It is one of my all time fav pieces I have. Go with the TOD version. But if you can see photos of the actual product then that would be a big plus as some of the paint jobs on that one are average. Mine looks great but it is actually a replacement. My other one did not look so good.

here is a photo of my original (in front) and new one (in back) you can see how much better the paint job was on my replacement.

Wow jaws, that's a big difference. How do you counter the flaking?

What would be the price difference for a rotla regular and ex? I just had an offer for a rotla for 385usd. Don't know if it's a regular or ex.

Same goes for the tod? How much would ya'll pay for it? Each has a high price. But are the ex much higher?

I know here in the states you can get the non exclusive ROTLA Indy for under 300.00. You can even find the Ex for under 300.00. I myself get the ex for under 300.00

The TOD non ex seems to go for around 270.00. It seems to be a tad harder to find. I think the Raiders one is easier to find because of the flaking issues. (you can counter this with a clear acrylic paint. There is a thread on here about that)

Being that you are in Europe I am not sure what a good price would be due to the shipping. Without shipping I would not go higher then 280.00 for the Raiders one.

I would look to buy reg versions. The Ex on both are not that special.

Mmm a guy wants to sell the rotla to me for 300 euros (385usd). I went on ebay but the prices are pretty high. Can't find it for the prices you name. Got a place where they still sell them?
