Tough question!!! I think Avengers did for many reasons- the GOT ending didn't bother me as much as many and I will see new SW this weekend

I'd say GoT S8 was the worst, followed closely by Endgame. I'm not even gonna bother watching Ep 9, since I don't care for Disney's Star Wars at all.

Lost had a horrible ending (thanks JJ Abrams)... but yeah Game of Thrones was pretty bad, it was rushed and the fact they let someone who was in prison determine who would be the new King spoke volumes to how absurd it bacame... The Rise of Skywalker was pretty lame also but Kenndy got what she wanted, to show that a female would make the most powerful Jedi ever... Not even Yoda could come close to her powers...

I didn't really like TROS, but man, did I feel sorry for JJ and the whole team, with what they were left to work with. I think if he had have overseen (at the very least) the story, we wouldn't be in the situation we're in. Even the editor of TROS has ripped Ruin for abandoning storylines.

So with that in mind - GOT trumps it.

I really admire D&D that they admitted they ****ed up and they were out of their league by the end, but regardless, it was a shocker; like a whole different show by the last 2 seasons.

The answer is SW. The new trilogy ruined the one good trilogy by making it completely pointless.

Yeah but only if I'm unable to divorce myself from what is considered 'official canon'. But I've been doing that since the PT and I'm simply doing it again with the ST.

Meanwhile those who like the ST probably don't even agree that it makes the preceding films pointless.

I must have missed that.

Very true. But at least you can watch the OT as a stand-alone story, with a definitive conclusion, and forget the ST even exists :)

Yeah. So I'm going to agree - Game of Thrones.

I enjoyed watching the final season as it happened - with members of the family gathered together for it - but on reflection I don't like what actually happened and it really does make it less likely that I'd go back and rewatch everything through again knowing that the ending was such a bitter pill. Even if it had more time to be developed I'm not sure I ever would have liked Dany going full dark-side. Jaime and Cersei's demise was lame.

It wasn't totally devoid of merit - as usual the spectacle was incredible (when you could see it) and I think the conclusion of Clegganebowl was good, great acting by everyone etc.

Star Wars ending beautifully with ROTJ in 1983.

GoT was way too rushed but I have no problem with the actual content of the story.

Avengers was a silly ending. Convoluted time travel mess and killing off/retiring characters just cause the actors' contracts were up. Terrible ending.

OT ended pretty cool, despite ROTJ's flaws - wish I'd be able to go into a parallel universe where the Ewoks are replaced by Wookiees though. The Sequel Trilogy is no fun, it's an amateurish high budget series of movies slapped together without any story arc, nothing, just politically correctness crap all day long.
I liked Rogue One and Mando, Solo was ok. But in the end:

SW I love all 3 Star Wars films.jpg

Close second comes Game of Thrones, such a big disappointment there too, a rushed final season, with glimpses of that rushing already in earlier seasons. Sad

IW was a better movie than Endgame but I definitely wasn’t disappointed in how it all got wrapped up.

SW for the win even though I’ll be striking it from canon.

I despise everything about the ST, from the characters to the events, but rather than waste energy hating it constantly I've just decided to pretend the Disney films don't exist.

I've been a huge fan of the EU for the past 15+ years, so in my mind that is still canon.
