The materials used to construct the helmet degrades over time, like the foam, adhesive and plastics, so it compromises the integrity of the safety aspect potentially.

A helmet that cool shouldn't be used to ride a bike anyway. Wouldn't want it to get dirty! Better to just wear it around the house and pretend your piloting a Valkyrie!

They're hard to find - so much so that you have only around a 5% chance of not getting ripped off by a scammer.

As an example, look at the listings on fleabay - every single one of those listings is a scam, and fleabay offers NO protection at all any more (they just recently shut down the dispute & resolution function)!

lol bikers actually prefer to wear cool helmets, and this helmet isn't that expensive, much cheaper than a Medicom 1/6 figure nowadays lol.

the Skull Leader black/purple helmet looks dope too if you wear dark biker suit.

BTW i noticed these were the 2020 batch. So you don't have to worry much about expiry. The 1st Macross Helmet i saw was many years ago from amiami, not sure if they are the same brand though. And i remember they had 2 designs, a Cartoon version and a normal round version.

BTW i noticed these were the 2020 batch. So you don't have to worry much about expiry. The 1st Macross Helmet i saw was many years ago from amiami, not sure if they are the same brand though. And i remember they had 2 designs, a Cartoon version and a normal round version.

I think the amiami's were made purely for conventions and cosplay, not for actual use as a protective helmet.

macrossworld states some of the sellers on ebay are Masei themselves so... anyway from the last posts in macrossworld it seems they are shipping, maybe you get 3 helmets instead of 1.
