I've been wanting a Leon and Mathilda for ages and I'm tied of waiting. Basically the idea of this thread is to outline some ideas to have these two made. For example some good reference shots of the actors, costumes and or course the "cleaning gear". Then if we can start a list of people interested perhaps we can get commission items from respectable artist(s) and tailors.

I for one wouldn't want Ada to touch either Leon or Mathilda. Her work is mostly disappointing imho.

I'm not really asking for help to bash my own. it's more like a "let's get together and try to get a full set commissioned" type of thing. Believe me I've looked at all the HS with Jean Reno's likeness... and its rather poor. As for Natalie Portman.... there isn't any.

There is a really great HT head that would be great for Leon. I have the Dragon "Hubert" figure, its decent, but not up to current standards.

no offense or anything but like I said before the heads out there with Reno's likeness is not really that good. It's not something you can fix with a good repaint... so why not just commission a full sculpt?

That GIGN head is pretty good actually, I am sure alot of the talented painters on here can make a true Jean Reno out of that head.

Les has the head so I think that will be the last thing I receive.
I purchased it off of ebay a while back. Great likeness from what I could see.

I got a Reno sculpt off Diver4 a while back on ebay and it's actually very good. At $15 there's really no reason to go any farther. I still need to repaint it or otherwise I'd post some pics, and I'd post the link but don't know if that's allowed?

Picked up some wool not too long ago and was going to make a custom coat. But the biggest problems for me are the hat, holsters and undershirt. That beanie is impossible to make sit right since you have to stitch it up the middle, and it always ends up looking like an oversized tousle or a friggin' rug. And the holsters need to be made out of leather. As for the undershirt, I've never seen anything even remotely close, although now that I think about it, maybe some 1/6 scale WWII long johns or something.

I'd definitely be down for a Mathilda. Maybe someone could recast a SS Padme and throw it on a Mego body. Here's a Leon custom that was on ebay a while back. Check out the gun case, along with the holsters and coat, which are all spot on. But again, that hat's terrible, and so's the sculpt. Replaced with the Diver4 one and a good beanie and it would be pretty good:

.... the shape of the head is wrong.. his eye bags are over exaggerated. both the facial hair and the hair itself is wrong.... the lips look incorrect too and his nose is huge....

Yeah they did go for Reno's likeness... but ultimately it doesn't pass for me. Theres a lot of tooling involved to make it spot on.

Ditto. Any suggestions other than commissioning a custom one or doing an impression of the SS Padme sculpt and working off that?

I can see your point... be interesting to see someone intentionally sculpt a Leon.
