Why am I addicted to HOT TOYS!?!

I started collecting with the MARK III and I cannot stop. I bought a figure every couple of months. Now I purchase them 2-3 times each month. Why am I doing this?

I know you can't answer why I collect. So, maybe someone can explain why anyone collects.

P.P.S I also buy figures I have not seen the movie for or have seen the movie and don't like. Why is this?

Do you want to stop the addiction?
If yes, your best bet is just not coming to this website. If you cannot not do it, than you can not overcome the addiction.

I came to this site and I'm trapped. Look at my post count and the date I joined -_-' , lots of post in a short time.

Anyways, the quality of each piece makes you want more. I remember watching a chinese interview about Hot Toys, and one of the sculptors said in chinese that "these figures make people crazy, they would starve themselves and save up every penny just to buy one of our figures" , so freaking true.

I purchased the Rocky IV figure way back when it was released, not knowing really who hot toys were... i just thought it was a cool likeness of Stallone/Rocky.

It was the only hot toys figure i had in my collection for about 2 years because i didnt really collect 1:6... then in 2009 i started hunting down the Rambos, then Terminators, then Jokers, Iron Men, now ive hit around 34 figures..... and i cant stop, AND theres more coming! AND their only getting better!

IT really IS and addiction.
But its awesome!
