Why does SS produce the combat version full scale Endos when the majority prefer the clean version. People purchase the combat version as a last option. SS should listen to the consumer. Supply the customer with what they really desire.

Your right, people do buy both. My point is that most prefer the CLEAN version. So why not offer both??? SS only offers the combat version at this time.

Here is one answer from a Sideshow distributor.........
"The reason Sideshow switched to the combat version was due to a significant price increase in the chroming process and problems with shipping the clean versions without damaging the chrome finish."
I would suggest clear coating the chrome in a urethane.

This is from a SS employee. "SS likes the look of the combat version better". Off the record this person told me that SS was having issues with the chrome now and possibly in the future with the Endos. They felt this might blemish their reputation, so they stopped producing them.
I wish SS and their vendor in China could overcome this chrome quality issue, and restart producing this highly desireable item.

I know of a few people on this and other boards who bought the combat endo bust and removed the paint to reveal a perfect chrome look. I have the combat endo bust myself and prefer it to the shiny version. Looks more like the movie.

I wonder if anyone has removed the paint on a combat Endoskeleton and achieved the same results as the Endokulls?

I couldn't decide which I liked more from the product photos so I ended up buying both. I have to admit I preder the clean version, but the BD edition is still totally badass ;)

Here's all I ask of Sideshow.... IF there will truly be no more of the clean endos produced,,, please close the waitlist.
According to a few members on this forum, there were only "3" left in the SS warehouse. Once those 3 were snatched up,,, shouldn't the website reflect that?
I'm just saying (from a business perspective),,, you're leaving $$$ on the table by leaving the waitlist open. We're not talking about a $150 Polystone statue here.
If it's a fact that the Clean version is 100% done,, then close the waitlist and I'll buy the battle damaged one.

What's even more interesting is that I signed up for the Shiny Flexpay Waitlist about five minutes after the newsletter went live that night and it still didn't convert, yet two people I know of (from this board and/or SF) signed up much later for the regular Waitlist and got converted already. I know I'll rethink the Flexpay twice on future orders of this kind.

Bump.... I would love to hear from a SideShow rep about the "Clean" endo waitlist.. If there are in fact no more,,, please close the waitlist and you'll have a $6000 order in for the battle damaged version. If there are more being produced (there is no edition number on this piece, so I don't know why not),,, then just let us know. No need to keep the waitlist open if they are extinct.
