So here I am, like 10 years into 1/6 scale, and the very reason I got into it has not been accomplished.

I remember sitting on my PC at my old house playing Counter-Strike and watching Die Hard, and deciding I wanted a John McClane figure. And again here I am, with no good head option still. The ones that are out there, just don't have the resemblance right.

Sure Feng's DH2 is incredible but I don't know that he ever sold any casts?

Surely he would be popular if done properly, I don't think anyone here would argue that. Yet no one is working on one.

So what are your top sculpts that you feel need to exist?

1. John McClane

2. Tony Montana

3. Marty McFly and Doc Brown

4. The Blues Brothers

5. The Dude

License or likeness rights.

Sideshow did Scarface though.

Well yea, I ment custom sculpts though. Not full licensed figures. But even the Sideshow one could use a head upgrade. I mean out of thousands of custom heads its mind boggling to me no one has done a perfect McClane yet.

I think Andy B was going to do a Bruce sculpt way back when for a private commission not sure if it ever got done though.

how2work has tony montana.. it might not be perfect but it's the figure..
the guys who did albert einstein...

Got any pics? NM I found them, not really seeing Pacino in there tho. I know Xeno sold some Pacino sculpts, Feng's maybe?, a while ago on ebay that looked pretty nice.

Some good ones on your list.

Here's the ones that totally baffle MY mind...

1) Jules and Vincent from Pulp Fiction
2) Michael Corleone.

With Kai's young vito these three may be the last remaining (along with a Clockwork Orange) unforgiveable holes in my collection.

Id get a stellar John Mclane too if there was one.

i would love to to make custom's of those two

i would be in for a dude figure but someone has to make walter also

Would be in for that, so along with Big Lebowski versions of John Goodman and Jeff Bridges, my wants are:

1. Bill Duke from Predator
2. Paul Reiser from Aliens
3. Alex from a Clockwork Orange
4. Marlon Brando and Martin Sheen from Apocalypse Now (Serang said he had interest in doing Sheen, told him he needed to do Brando as well)
5. Godfather Pacino and James Caan (saw Ada did a Sonny but wasn't blown away by it and have yet to see one painted) and Godfather II Deniro (early on in the movie or later, whichever)
6. Gary Oldman and Natalie Portman from The Professional (saw Rainman is working on a Gary Oldman, not sure from which movie, and for this kind of sculpt he needs to look downright insane, so here's hoping)

Good versions of these would all be must buys for me.

I might be the only one, but I've always wanted the 3 Stooges. Moe, Larry and Curly. We would need a bunch of special hands sculpted as well.

And, of course a good John McClane. I wonder if Hot Toys has ever tried to get the rights...

I would definately consider making some stooges.

Hot Toys would be great for Die Hard, they gave us Arnie and Stallone, why not Willis.

Didn't Spenser recently post pics of her.... I'll check.

Yeah, here she is -

Yeah, but despite my pleading he has yet to offer her up for sale. Don't know what the situation is, so until then, she'll stay on my list.

And saw Kai's Deniro but wasn't exactly blown away. Think the mouth is too small, forehead too big and chin a bit too broad. Still, sculpt is very nice, and would jump on it except I have a feeling he'll probably just be offering painted versions at a premium price. Best to date, however.

As a side note, there have been lots of attempts at Willis but it's a tough likeness to capture. So not so much that there isn't a sculpt of him out there, just not a dead on one.

that was Natalie Portman ? it doesnt look like her

With a pair of glasses and a hat like in the movie it would be pretty darn close. I thought the sculpt was decent. Saw Portman in there.

i know there was a jules head from pulp fiction was there ever a vincent?

Oh yeah.... and a really good Shatner TOS Kirk. That seems to be another likness that is hard to get. I think the best one I've seem is the old Playmates figures.
