why hasn't Hot Toys made the live birth Alien?

Well they have made most of the unique Xeno's, may as well make that guy, they made predators that have been on the screen for like 5 seconds....some people may buy it.

Oh and I'd much prefer to see HT do the Chestburster from Aliens,as in a 1/6 body with the Chestburster emerging. That would make for a pretty unique 1/6 fig. Er from my limited experience anyways...

I think the thing on the left is one of the failed Ripley-clones, but I'm not sure about that...

That Chestbuster idea isn't too bad. I wouldn't buy it, but it would be a pretty interesting figure to say the least!

I guess the alien newborn just has too many weird proportions for Hot Toys to make it into a 1/6 figure. I mean, just look at how skinny the legs are, compared to the fat torso. If that were a 1/6 figure, it wouldn't be able to stand on its own.

It's but ugly and I'm not sure it would sell too well. Chestburster would be cool, but not necessarily on it's own. Would be great if they recreated the birth scene from Alien with Kane and a dinner table.
