i used to work Transient Alert (go southwest along the nearest taxiway for about 0.8 miles) there for 4 years. the building with the bat is typically used for Marine's on TDY there. i'd be willing to bet the guys from VMFA (AW) 242 (the Bats) did this.

Apparently he's not too far from "Gotham City" itself. In fact, just far enough away that you might find the distance comparable to where Wayne Manor might be, in relation to the heart of Gotham.

(Ugh - now I'm reminded of the lengthy commute to my old job, which probably took me pretty close to that house, but then had me keep driving twice as far out).
