Not mine but I have asked for some photos
I'm super excited to hear how this thing turned out

Yep! Now that I know that they are going to put an ES on these I'm all in for the Doom LSF...:yess: Now these are worth dropping $2000+ on.

Where was this stated exactly?

Chris

Yes, I was thinking this myself Chris. IL, has this been confirmed by SSC? I only ask because there are a few of us that would never dream of dropping around 2K on an open ES LSF. However, if they make one batch and put and ES on them, that is a significant change in the right direction for such expensive pieces IMHO. That would make a world of difference for some of us.

They won't set an ES or put a number on the base. They just stop producing after the first batch is sell out.

I personally fine if the base is not numbered as long as they don't keep production open for a very long time. What makes a product can't increase in value is the availability. If people can still buy it at retail on sideshow site of course you have to lose money in case you have to sell it.

But since they'll close the production for this LSF after the first batch is sell out, people won't be able to buy this at retail thus most likely the price will go up in after market.

With open ES it's possible there are less than 500 of these Wolvie produced (I am guessing more like 300 maybe) which is more limited (rarer) than if Sideshow set an ES of 500 from the beginning.

:goodpost: I think es on the base or not this is gonna be one rare statue

It's possible that the LSF line is not as profitable as they wished. So the line could be in trouble. That could explain the faster sell outs. I'm just guessing here. :dunno but I'm almost always right on the long run :D

I agree with everything you say Mamba. I was just commenting on what IL said about there being a number or an ES on the base. So long as any item is sold out, the chances of it increasing in value are good. It still would be nice to know how many of these were actually made. I don't see why SSC didn't put a number on it. Especially since they are stopping production of these after the first batch. How hard would that have been to do?
