woody inc Bat signal question

Hey guys i just got my hands on a woody inc bat signal and i was thinking of removing the power source and light and installing a very powerful LED, I am trying to get the symbol to show up on the wall. This is my first time doing anything like this do you guys think this will work?

Any advice or tips you guys may have would be great.

well higher output LEDs like CREEs will also generate more heat so do it at your own risk ... of cause maybe you ment more regular LED
