Would anyone buy a HT Cain figure from Robocop 2 if they made it?

Mark Robo Cain under HT 1/6 pipe dream alongside Queen Alien, Batman '89 Batmobile, Iron Monger, the Titanic and the Death Star:monkey2

I don't think Cain is THAT complex for HT to pull off

If they re-release the Robocop line, then yes, I'd be willing to buy a Cain figure.

As for feasibility, they'd have to use some heavy duty materials on the lower half of the figure. Cain is very top heavy.

Yes good point. In the movie he always seemed VERY top heavy. I don't think it would stand on it's own without support of some kind as a 12" figure.

Without a doubt- Yes.

If they can do ED-209, the Tumbler, the Power Loader and a T-800 Endoskeleton, they can pull this off. I just don't think they believe there is a viable enough market for it.

This is my ultimate Grail piece though, and I would absolutely have it. I'd pay upwards of Tumbler prices and more for it.

Robocop 2 was crap.

I was going to get you something nice for Christmas, but now you're getting coal, sucka!

I agree but the Cain Robot was still fantastic. And the fight with Robocop was a great sequence, much better than any CGI crap we'd get now.

I probably would if I could flex pay it through someone (i.e. Sideshow) but otherwise I doubt it. I'd be more interested in the Iron Monger if they were to do another large piece.

this would be a piece of p*** for HT to pull off, but they probably dont think theres enough interest to do it because of the poor film! but im sure it would sell as well (or not so) as the batpod did and would be around the same price point as the pod maybe cheaper!

still, it would be nice to have an enemy to pose next to my robocop!

Robocop 2 was good for the action and didn't have robot ninjas and jetpacks.

If HT did a Cain figure, they'd probably also release another Robocop, maybe this time they could do a Peter Weller head sculpt. They could also do a complete overhaul. The original figures were great, but they aren't perfect and some of the proportions are off. Time has only made those flaws more obvious.

Only on SSF's can someone ask:

"Would anyone buy a HT Cain figure from Robocop 2 if they made it?"

and the answer be "Robocop II sucks"

If they do make a Cain it wouldn't really make much sense being that they've only released a Robo V1 and (2) from part III.

I'd get it if they made a Robocop II DX figure to display along with it. Maybe a Robocop battle damaged version too.

Hmmm, well, he keeps the boards interesting and honest, at least. I'm just waiting for any sort of (updated) rumor thread to start about a possible HT Hulk and then I'd say the Hulk movies sucked. Or the Planet Hulk and WWHulk stories were overlong and boring.

As for Cain. I think we should all keep our fingers crossed for an Iron Monger first and foremost. If Monger is made, then that opens the door for Cain. But we've been waiting forever for any news on a 1/6 Alien Queen...I want that first.

Since i sold off my RoboCop with gunarm..i have no desire for a Cain figure at all now but, if down the road there is a ultimate version of RoboCop released with updated sculpt and accessories etc..then, i may bite and pick them up.
