I would be all over a River Phoenix PF and depending on the Sean one, I would get that as well. I love the Adventures of Young Indiana Jones.

The Medicom Phoenix looks really good.
Sean Flannery was a miscast IMO. I just don't associate him as Indy.

If Sean Flannery was a miscast, who would have been better? I thought he was fine as a younger Indy, given the material he was given to work with.

I just can't think of anyone who really would be able to fill Harrison's shoes, though.

I enjoyed the TV show.
It's hard to say who would be a better young Indy as the role would have probably been given to another unknown.

I guess it would have been a billion to one shot to have got a truly great young Indy.

I wouldn't buy PFs of either but I'm looking forward to Medi's River Phoenix Indy and would definitely get a 1/6 Sean Patrick Flannery.

I would want only the Phoenix Indy...maybe something like this:

but it'd seriously depend on pricing whether I'd get it or not.

According to reports Harrison Ford is the one who suggested River Phoenix for Young Indy.

Flannery in the belgian war gear would be a great thing to have in one sixth for sure. That show had some great costuming especially his biker courier costume with the big leather coat. Quarter scale would be a little hard for most to justify. I thought SPF lent something to the role, although looked more like a young kirk than a young indy. Enjoyable series nonetheless and certainly indy canon. I think the child indy episodes were a bit lame.... though I did like seeing an old indy every episode rambling on.

Yea so did I until they CUT it from the god damn DVDs. Oh well. I liked most of the child Indy episodes, especially the first one, VERY good. There were a couple lame ones but overall great. I still need to pick up the 3rd box set.
