okay so they didn't get the hair thing figured out yet (No Chewie!) but assuming they do, would you buy a nicely done 1/6 scale wampa? I estimate he would be around 20 inches tall if the scale was done right, whats the max you would pay for it if any(assuming you love the sculpt)?

Only if he comes with a detachable arm and blood around his mouth.

I'm planning on getting this whole line, so yes I would. I don't see him happening for a while. Maybe they'll do a Hoth set one SDCC like Jabba's this year. But then again I never expected to see Jabba in 1/6 either so what the hell do I know?

Well, Hasbro did make a wampa, which is more a less weird deformed plush doll (but I loved it when I got it, and still kind of do I guess).

Anything from the SSC SW 1/6 line..............Wampa with Hoth base to attach Hoth Luke(by his feet of course)

Definitely. Tauntauns are must too. Both of these figures need to be ariticulated if I'm going to be interested though! Sideshow, ariticulation is key in 1/6 scale, no matter what the creature!

Depending on quality yes I probably would. An Ice Cave environment that allowed you to suspend a 12" Hoth Luke figure from the ceiling would be an awesome addition.

Probably not. Although I like the the Hoth stuff. I'm pretty happy with the deluxe wampa and luke hasbro did a couple years ago. I plan on making my own icecave scene some day. It's just easier to display.

It must be way too early for me. I saw the thread title and at first glance thought I was talking to Bib Fortuna as a used wampa salesman

I'll vote yes, for sure. Plus some Tauntaun, Rancor, Dewback, Bantha, Reek, Acklay, Nexu, Kaadu, Dianoga, Sarlacc, Boga....who else am I missing?

:D

Probably not. A 1/6 Wampa or tauntaun with real fur and all the trimmings would have to run at least $250-$300, and Jabba's the only Star Wars creature I'd be willing to drop that much cash for.

IF he could be made for around $150 I would probably buy him. I've always loved the Wampa... he was one of the first Star Wars toys I got (that wasn't one of my brothers hand-me-downs) and has always been a favorite. Here's a sweet customized Hasbro Wampa from RS:

Exactly. I like a sweet design AND a great personality!! :lol

If you put Jabba on a shelf alone, everyone knows who it is. If you put a wampa on the shelf alone 5 out of 10 people will think it's the Abominable Snowman, and wonder why you have it.

In all honesty I will probably buy whatever SST puts out in the Star Wars line. The Jabba entourage will cost me around $400 because I'm in Cali so a $150 Wampa isn't out of the realm of possibilities but I probably wouldn't get the Hoth Ice Cave Environment if it followed...
