I think if Hot Toys made Steve Mcqueen for their Icon series and made him from Bullit that would be awesome and why hasn't it been done yet?

you could get the triad toys steve mcqueen to do a bullitt. i think the clothing would be pretty easy to match up. just a turtleneck and some trousers i think. the sculpt looks like it will work perfectly for a bullitt

Who knows?

Toys McCoy issued a Steve McQueen line back in 1996 like Enterbay have done with Bruce Lee consisting of Virgil Hilts from The Great Escape,Josh randall from Wanted: dead or alive,Papa Thorson from Hunter,McQueens last film and Junior Bonner.Probably safe to say Toys McCoy were the Hot Toys of their day around the time 1/6 was enjoying a renaissence period with Dragon just starting out.The sculpts were fantastic for their day, along with the tailoring albeit mounted on the G.I Joe HOF body.

Rumours at the time were that the Bullitt figure was coming, along with a 1967 Mustang 390 GT,but sadly thats all they turned out to be.Rumours.That fact that it was McQueens highest grossing film(perhaps surpassed by the Towering Inferno?) surely makes it the strangest omission in 1/6 history.

Im lucky enough to have the Great Escape and Hunter figures,in fact they reignited my whole interest for the genre again 10 years ago and i ve been here ever since.

And yes i d be down for a 1/6 Steve McQueen.Absolutely.

From the pics the figure looks pretty good. It's not on the level of Hot Toys, but it looks close enough.

Bullit would be awesome :rock Hoping Triad makes it happen as their "Wanted Dead or Alive" figure looks great.

Hell yea. A scale Mustang as well.

wonder if enterbay would be interested in making bullit? between EB and HT, at the moment I prefer EB's HS.

I just really hope EB furthers their line potentials, their Bruce Lees are amazing but I think they need more variety. If EB did a SMQ it would be unreal I have no doubts.

To answer the question I would love to see more stuff from the 70's including Steve McQueen!

Sideshow's Live and Let Die Roger Moore figure has pretty much the exact outfit you would need. Even has the shoulder holster (though it's rather oversized)

I think the hair is a bit off, but could probably be altered w/o much effort... or its at least close enough to be Bullit.

I'd buy McQueen as Bullit, Virgil Hilts, Thomas Crown...

One of the immortals of cool.

Going OT, I was hoping HT would add an On The Waterfront Brando to their Wild One, Superman and Godfather Brando's. You'd only need Kurtz after that and the 'line' would be complete.

My Triad is soon to be a Bullit, repainted & clothed. Then Bingo, w've got Frank as well as the custom harness Stevo made for me. Wooooo Hoooo

Still would need a Streetcar figure.

YES . . . BUT . . .

Instead of waiting for HOT TOYS . . .

Mine arrived last week. The headsculpt is a very good likeness of a young Steve McQueen when he starred in the TV series WANTED: DEAD OR ALIVE.

I'll probably use a Triad Toys BULLETT BALLET dark grey or light grey outfit set with one of their male single or double shoulder holster rigs I purchased sometime back with some worthwhile black dress shoes or short black boots for an updated take on BULLITT.

IF & WHEN HOT TOYS manages to produce a ICON version of BULLITT and provided it's worthwhile . . . I'll still probably pick one up.

The thing is though . . .

No one makes a 1:6 scale 1968 Ford Mustang 390 CID Fastback and a tuxedo black 1968 Dodge Charger R/T 440 Magnum.

;)
