I've been offered an Exclusive Predator Maquette with only the helmeted head along with a Pumpkinhead Maquette (missing one finger) for around $1300

Seems like an OK deal I suppose since retail on the Predator is $1K and the Pumpkinhead $850.

Should I do it?

I supose for both statues its not a bad price, there is one "but" though one has
a brocken finger and the other a missing head. I you can live with that then go for
it. Personaly I couldn't by a statue knowing it was brocken or missing parts.
What happened to the ex-head on the pred???

Not sure....seller may still have it but can't find it at the moment. Has a huge collection and it wasn't sitting in the box.

I don't mind buying damaged stuff "IF" I know I am never going to get rid of it. It doesn't bother me to fix a statue and display it. But, If you think you might want/need to sell it off later, being damaged will put off alot of potential buyers. It seems like an ok deal, but I think you have room to bring the price down a few hundred. :wacky

If he can find the head I'd say your getting a bargin all thats left is the missing
finger on pumpkin head. On the other hand if he can't find the head I would try crunch him down to at least $1000. With out the head the predator isn't a exclusive.
Good luck..

No. Wait awhile. If the economy continues to go down the toilet, you may find good deals on pieces that aren't damaged.

I dont know. Its extremely tough to find a Pmpkinhead maquette. .. I think they sell for quite alot actually ..

that pumpkinhead is amazing as is the predator. If thye were offered to me I doubt I could refuse , its very rare to even see the pumpkinhead for sale.

Thanks for the input guys. I may try to bring the price down. I'd probably do it for sure for $1K. Here's a pic of the Pumpkinhead damage.

sounds like a good deal man. You will probably display the predator with the masked head anyway and the pumpkinhead is super rare. You mentioned the retail price for comparison, but it would be extremely difficult to find these at retail price anymore. Exclusive predator usually goes for $1500 - $2000 (that's mint and with both heads of course). The pumpkinhead is rare at any price! I would look at it as that I am buying the exclusive predator and getting the pumpkinhead for free :banana

Depends on how badly you want these--sounds like a good price
hopefully you can get a little knocked off the deal

If I ever got the Ex. Pred, I wouldn't display it with the regular head.
And, if you'd like, I'm sure someone could sculpt the missing finger on the Pumpkinhead maquette and attempt to paint it :huh.

I'd say it's worth it.

That's what I was hoping to have done to the missing finger :)

I'm leaning toward grabbing these. Will keep you guys updated.

The helmet head is the Exclusive anyway and looks better on the statue. I have mine displayed that way now and it looks friggin' sweet.

As for the Pumpkinhead, I had it and didn't like the way it displayed at all. It always looked like he should be falling forward and the paint ap was so-so. I sold it on eBay.

You'll never get a chance at just the exposed head since that wasn't extra on most of them, but I think this is still worth it in today's prices just for the 1/4 scale helmetted pred.

It's a good deal, go for it. Worst case you can probably resell them for more than you'll be paying.

Thanks again for the input guys. I modified the deal to pay $1170, will meet him halfway to pick up the items, and will give him $300 for the other head should he find it. I'll post pics once I get them
