Hey guys, Long time lurker ...finally joined.
I am a 43 year old father of two, happily married for 29 years, and now successful enough to treat myself to whatever I want.
I have always collected since I was given my first X-wing at 7 years old. I recently sold all of my vintage Star Wars collectibles (over 4K) due to the fact that they were languishing in storage and not on display. I decided to invest in HT and Sideshow level high end figures instead, so I can display them for everyone to enjoy. I have a nice collection of NECA and Mcfarelane as well. I will post Pic soon, as I have planned to make my Detolfs next week. Currently I only own 10 HT/SS figures, but my obsession is growing.
My interests are Zombies (before they were a fad), Terminator, Jaws, Batman and just about any Sci-fi you can throw at me.
Great people here and the forum has been a great help in deciding to start collecting figures and displaying them.
I hope to be an asset to the forum.
I am heading to Otaku paradise in Akihabara Japan in 5 months to shop for collectible figures in the nerd capital of the world!!!!
