I haul off bundles of wood rippings from the place I work and burn them in our pasture. This is about 70% burnt away. I can only get within about 40 foot of it right now before my face burns off. At it's peak burn about 50 foot is as close as I can get. HOT STUFF!
It started off as 29 bundles of various wood strips strapped together individulally and stacked about 48'' high. Each bundle weighs about 400 lbs and ranges from 8' to 12' long so the whole stack is about 10' wide, 30' long and 4' high. By the morning all that will be left is a 1/2 inch of ash.
I forgot to get shots when the flames were about ten foot off the bundles but next time I will.
