Yippee Ki-Yay Mother****er! WIP -new pics pg 2 10/5/12

Hey guys,

So for the last few weeks I've been assembling parts to make a John McClane figure from the first Die Hard.

My ultimate goal is to have a figure or series of figures that represent all four movies.

I still have a bunch of parts coming from China as well as a Head Sculpt by Erick Sosa (which is far superior). The head on there right now is the Brother Productions version of the Die Hard with a Vengence John. I have his full costume as well (minus badge).

I've gone through three pairs of trousers (black, green and now a grey) and think this one is by far the best.

The body is the Kaustic Plastic realistic muscle body.

Things I'm still looking for are a black strap for the MP5, a cigarette (already have the sliver lighter) A pack of cigarettes and a black detonator bag.

DIE HARD is one of my top two action movies of all time, Predator being the other.

Any suggestions or comments on how to make him better would be great. Also, if you have any parts you could assist with, please let me know!

Shaping up nicely. You just need to weather and futz the pants and belt as much as you did the t-shirt.

BTW, which T-shirt is that? I really like it.

looks awsome man i love the first die hard as well. heres some sugestions friend one a walkie talkie, bag, his hand gun, tatoe, names of terest on his right underarm, watch, and bloody feet!! looks really good man and with more added could be the best. if you don't want the head sculpt anymore once you get your other one let me know becuase the only mclain i haven't made yet is die hard 2!! hope this helps man.

I have a Hot Toys Terminator raido coming as well as his full holster set up complete with Beretta. I'm going to put on the arm tattoo as well as the sharpie names of the terrorists.

thainer a member here had done some decals a while back , they're pretty neat. IMO you should change the body to the HT TTM19. The KP body has a very weird color tone and the physique isn't quite like McClane's. Try getting the T1000 Beretta - Its a 92FS the same one used in the movie.

Looks great - love that head! My tip right now would be to search for a left handed gun holding hand!

Use a HT Godfather left hand. Holds the gun perfectly and also has a wedding band already

looks great. try using a hot toys TTM19 body if you can, i think it look better on that then the KP body.
my opinion on the KP bodies in general is that they need some fine tuning. it shows as the vein on his right arm is no where near his bicep

made some real progress on my John Mcclane. Finally got the neck removed and the head drilled out to accept the Kaustic Plastic realistic muscle body. I think he's really starting to come together.

Hell yeah.

I painted an identical sosa head as a first try. This was my second time ever painting a 12" head. Still a lot of room for improvement.

Thats pretty good for your first pantjob better than my first one

In two minds still about the sosa head looks very old and haggered imo, I went for a head play sculpt and added hair.
