Yippy Ki Yay Motherfather-John McClane Using Daniel's HS

Can't believe I am the first to post a bash using this amazing HS. Pretty straight forward as I answered most of the questions in my WIP thread. Comedian body, Daniels HS, Some black pants I had laying around, a Beretta I got off eBay, an Intoyz MP5A3, an old BBI Cleveland SWAT radio I cut the bottom off and the BBI SWAT guy watch with a new band cut from the McF Neo rifle sling. I also made a sling for the MP5 out of the sling from a McF Military navy seal that I got at Value Village for $1.99. Looks like I need to revisit that left eye, too. But I'll get to that. Darn the old man's eyesight I have now. I can see for 100 miles but if it is closer than arm's length I can't see it. Still getting used to the reading glasses, too. Anyway on with the pics:

Looks good but you reall have to mix that red.
Looks way too red and looks more like paint acutally than red.

Try to mix red with brown and use it more liquid.

They are Soldier Story feet. And the cigarette is the one Gregge made that comes with the head. And I am copying fake, too red Hollywood blood so I think I'll leave it the way it is thanks.

OK here is mine: shirt and pants Dragon. MP is from Sideshow. Body is BBI repainted. Hands are BBI on Hot Toys pegs.

Nice job guys. I so want a comedian body but they are so hard to come by, and when one pops up, it's off the charts, haha.

I just received my head and popped it on a Soldier Story body I had lying around.

Considering how expensive and diffucult to find the comedian body is, this will do just fine for me.

I like the S2 body. If I was doing a DH3 figure I definitely would have used one. But John McClane was the first custom figure I did when I got into 1/6th scale stuff and I muffed it up pretty badly. It was a Frontline head (my first paint job) on a Power Team Elite body. It was just fugly and I wanted to prove how far I have come in the 6 or so years since I did it so I dropped the bomb on the Comedian body and just wanted to knock this figure out of the park.

dang I wish I was home with my figures to start on this guy myself !

oh and i guess most people know by now, but his left eye is sculpted slightly more open than the right. For the Die Hard 4 version, I even-ed out the eyes and closed the mouth but I was basing this Die Hard 1 head off of this (
