The face absolutely kills it. The artist obviously hasn't done his homework on the facial structures of Thanos. I love the concept but the power that Doom has is the fact that he is calmly sitting in his throne as in deep thought or planning. I would want Thanos the same if done on a throne. Something like this:

The face actually looks a lot like Ron Lim's Thanos. I agree that the paint is what the issue is. Needs some more tones to bring out the detail and depth.

Pretty sweet statue. I would go for one, but don't trust the international shipping with a custom box job on something like this. I'm sure something will be broken on this bad buy if it is sent to the states. Plus, for 1/4 scale, he should be bigger (Thanos is way above average size in the MU, closer to Hulk as far as scale).

watch this guy, i bought a hulk-spidey statue from him about 10days to 2 weeks ago, have not got it yet, but have my suspicions that it may be fake, even though it stated in his auction that it was authentic sideshow. did not know of fakes till about a week ago.

in short, ebay/paypal, which are basically the same company (paypal is owned by ebay) work for the seller, your credit card company works for you.
