I have a question for everyone here.
When you display your collection and it comes with accessories like extra hands, extra head, guns, or other weapons, what ever it may come with.
Where do you keep them?
Do you keep them in front of the figure or do you keep them some place else?
Like in a draw or in a storage bag?
I see some photos in the "show off your collection" thread and they're awesome. No extra stuff around just a nice and clean picture. Some other pictures though do have the accessories at the bast of the stands of the figures.
I just recently opened all my STAR WARS SSC figures and boy howdy there's a lot of stuff and I'm planning on taking pics and I don't want them to look like they're standing in a trash heap.
Any info you guys have would be awesome, please share with me and the other members.

I have a storage bin, I usually toss them in there. I have them bagged up in genres, Star Wars in one, LOTR in another, the Dead in another, etc. This also helps me keep track if I need parts for something or I sell a particular item.

I would leave them with the packaging, if you keep the boxes. I can see the accessories getting lost easily otherwise.

I have the figures box behind them and the extra accesssories in a little baggy on top of the boxes. I have some of the exclusive accessories by the figures feet if they are not holding it.

I leave every extra accessory in their respective boxes. I also display all of my boxes behind each figure so that eats up alot of "storage" space too.

With the dead figure range I usually just put the accessories on the front of the stand, on other figures I leave them in the box which then gets stored.

You could make a trash compactor diorama :lol
I keep mine in their boxes.

I keep it all in the box, which I then store in my loft till 'rotaton' season when I venture up there, put the displayed guys back away 'good as new' then venture to the boxes at the back where sometimes, just sometimes I find figures I forgot I had... it's great, like getting new figures all over again!
I recently found Medicom X-Men Cyclops, have no memory of ever buying it!

I too keep my boxes in storage. unfortuantely, living in the south means the little gold exclusive sickers simply fall off the boxes after a while :(

Grats on your Medicom cyclops wook, That's one that is still definitely on my "gotta get it one day" list.

Since I keep my boxes, I just store what I don't want to display in those. That way there if I ever do have to sell the figure, I don't have to worry about trying to find all the pieces.

Yep, if I keep the boxes all the extras are in their. If I don't I keep the extras in a baggie in a tote with other 1/6 figures and accessories. Especially with SW (because of the lightsabers) I would keep the boxes.

It depends. Sometimes if the extra is really cool, I display it next to the figure, otherwise I have a special box with all Sideshow, Hot Toys, Medicom, Kotobukiya or Gentle Giant accessories where they stay safe. I always keep the original boxes, but I deposit them in the attic so it would be hard to get an accessory if needed fast

I leave every extra accessory in their respective boxes.

Same here, and from time to time or when I want to mess around taking pics, I'll mix them up. But I usually decide on a pose when I get it, and just stick with it.

in their respective boxes.. if I bought them loose or their a figure that you can't store parts in the box I have a lovely drawer that has a collection of its own.. heads, hands, knives, and other misc. parts... :lol

I have everything in ziploc bags of various sizes and stored in boxes. I saw a nice hardware box at home depot I might buy and transfer some stuff to for easy access.

I sell everything that won't be displayed. Only exception has been keeping both the auto glock and the machine gun for TDK joker
