Though I'm glad the new coat looks good on Batman, glad I got the Daft toys one to replace it and I have the Superman sculpt from Kit.

Im still on the fence on the Henry sculpt from OSK. The paint is too soft for me. Anyone with the black suit transcendent confirm of the laser eye sulpt fits on the hot toys body?

It must look great in-hand! So many people seem to love it.

Just my personal perception… but I’m not impressed at all with the photos I’ve seen. And there’s been a slew of them here, on reddit, and on the FB groups I follow. I’ve seen a few examples of that OSK sculpt that were professionally repainted that do look better than out of the box. But they did not look better to me than the stock HT sculpt. At least just going from the photos I see, which are typically good resolution, and with good lighting, without a lot of lens distortion, etc. To my eye it’s lacking in fine detail.

But again, it’s popular! So there must be something about it in-hand that the photos aren’t doing justice to!

OSK sculpt looks amazing in person, photos don't to justice,but there are many bootlegs floating on ebay and elsewhere, so buy it from Kit directly. It's my fav Cavill sculpt I own and I have many lol

With the blue suit Superman I didn't care about the hair parting in the wrong direction. Displaying him in a non movie specific Snyder trinity with Suicide Squad Batfleck and WW84 regular suit when she releases.

It's much more annoying with this black suit release where I do want a screen accurate Snyder Cut look. Will probably pick up one Jaxon's grey capes for him.

seems it's gone by now, I ordered last year, once it was released and waiting this set to be released since then lol send email to Kit he might restock, restocked 2 times already. Or check ebay, ones for 20-25$ are bootlegs, ones for 50$ are real ones, check seller feedback before buying .

Just a heads up for anyone looking to get S.KING.S angry Superman head sculpt from ZSJL. Apparently, some of them suffer from light bleed, some more than others. I was really unlucky with mine, it looked like a light-up Mcdonald's toy.
I ask to return it for a refund, and the Chinese company on eBay offered me money off it. I said unless it's 50% off I don't want it. They tried, 10%, 20%, 30%. they even asked if I would be willing to sell it to a friend. I ended up just saying no I want a refund.
Because it was from China I had to sort return shipping and they would then pay for that, the cost was 80% of what the head cost so they told me to keep it. It was a pain but at least I got a decent-looking angry ZSJL head sculpt for free, I just couldn't light it up.

Anyway, on to the whole point of this. I had some Black 2.0 paint left from my home theatre. Painted the inside of the head with two coats and it became a very serviceable light-up head sculpt.

This is a personal preference but I don’t anticipate using the angry heat vision head sculpt, in any form, with black suit Superman. If I had a Steppenwolf to pair with it (which I don’t, and won’t get the painted resin print, have to draw the line somewhere) then maybe, sure. Anyway…

I’m hoping that someone out there makes a relatively affordable custom ZSJL head sculpt with hair like in ZSJL and that just looks great as Superman resurrected.

Damn, in my opinion all of these third party and knock off sculpts of Cavill look shockingly bad. Definitely just keep the Hot Toys one it comes with, it's far superior; and not in that it looks 100 percent Cavill, in the sense that it doesn't actually look bad.
