yeah crm has been beaten. but i think the box of the crm figure is still pretty cool. lol. and dam the shining is a great movie... ive rewatched it so many times lately that shelly duval has started looking hot to me!

He really is so f'n great!!! And mine is very sturdy - has no problem standing - even when a very drunk Kurgan is leaning against him.

just got mine. great figure. but customs tore my outer box. so i am kinda pissed! and i have no decent camara so no pics... so i will GTFO. mine didn't have any bubble wrap .

Mine did have bubble wrap, but was in a very tight fighting box. And sadly, yesterday when I took the figure out I tore a bit of the front of the outer sleeve I didn't have any trouble the first time I opened the figure, but the fit is pretty tight and I guess I didn't repack it very well and it ripped the second time

yeah. the outer cover does seem to rip easily. if u check abc 's new pics of the figure then u will c that that box is torn in the top corner as well. inner box is strong though.

Yeah, she was pretty revolting in the film. For the longest time I questioned Kubrick's decision to cast her in the film, but it makes so much sense that she looked and acted the way she did. Made Jack's insanity even more believable.

It's interesting how in the behind the scenes on the DVD they talk about how Kubrick didn't treat Duvall that well so that her feelings to the director would come out on screen.

Yeah, he really berated her the entire film--there are a couple behind the scenes clips that show her ready to break down.

Still no updates for the ABCExpress figure for me. I received my UPS notice from Toys2 though, so that be the one that gets opened.

Yes. She also seemed to have her own personal issues too which worked well to the feel of the film. They casted her imo cuz she looked like a ghost to begin with! hehe.

I think the casting for that film was brilliant... both fit stereotypes for an abusive relationships, but at the same time didn't feel cookie cutter. Very intense and disturbing flick.
