A few of my unpopular opinions:

The X-Men movies are ******

While I can't say that all of them are bad.. I do tend to think they are overrated.

Overall, Wyatt Earp is better than Tombstone. If it weren't for Val Kilmer -- who was a slightly better Holliday than Dennis Quaid -- it wouldn't even be a close call.

Wyatt Earp is a great film until they get to Tombstone IMO... But lets not forget Michael Bien and how great he was.. I like Costner but Russell is THE MAN!

I like the Extended cut of Earp and have not watched it in years because I keep waiting for it to come out on Blu ray.

Tombstone is the easier watch though. Wyatt Earp is the better Western.

I like the Texas Chainsaw Massacre and it's remake..... But I think the Remake is the better film and more intense.


Tobe Hooper is an awful director who got lucky with the original TCM and everyone knows Spielberg directed Poltergeist after that he's got nothing.

The Force Awakens was mediocre at best, an uncreative money-grab at worst.

All movies are made to "money grab" so I've never understood that statement as if it's somehow a bad thing to do.

In the same way that the prequels tried to lure people to theatres by appealing on people's fondness for pretty flashy images, this film did the same thing by appealing to the current generation's obsession for nostalgia. Both represent a prioritization of profit first, creativity at a distant second, and making a great movie an afterthought.
You could practically see the corporate committee decision making in each shot.

The ideas behind both are stupid and they aren't really good in terms of narrative and dynamic.

DOFP is my favorite X Men movie, not sure why everyone hates it so much.

And FC is my least favorite, after X3, of course.
