Unbreakable is his best, never understood why he hasn't revisited it, especially since Willis was chomping at the bit to do it. Now Shyamalan probably couldn't get a sandwich made, let alone a movie.

Yeah, "SIGNS" is very watchable but still very much dumb.
As a sci-fi film about religion it's on par with "STV The Final Frontier".

Right. But we're not trying to invade and kidnap the (waterlogged) locals.

I'm not trying to bash it. I'd love it if there was a viable explanation. But I can't think of what resources they could be after that don't contain water. And Shammy has never commented as far as I know.

I love the birthday party. Made my niece jump when we watched it together.

I loved Unbreakable when I saw it and watched it repeatedly on DVD. Last time I watched it I found it a tough slog. Might try it again.
