I agree that it likely refers to the students, and Luke (who I still believe will 'sacrifice' himself)... leaving Rey as The Last Jedi at the end.

I think this is one of the better titles of the series.

And it's so simple. It just shows how easy it is to not screw up Star Wars if you don't go out of your way to do so.

When Maul said "At last we will reveal ourselves to the Jedi. at last we will have revenge" he was really referring to Luke.
