preordered this a few months ago. Whats the usual waiting time for lim?
Infinity. You preorder, and just forget about it. Until you paid the remaining invoice and it arrived for you to open. That’s the mentality. Harsh, but nothing you can do about it. Just know when it arrived it will be good.

This. It can sometimes be a little nerve-wracking especially considering how much they cost, but the best mindset to take on that saves you from the most stress is just to not think about it until you get a solid update or word that it's shipping. If it doesn't arrive then, that's when you worry.

Gentleman, I would like to share something, as I know you all are big Redemption fans like myself. I've always been a great admirer of John's denim vest and the black coat with white accent stitching that He has in the Colter chapter and the Epilogue. That winter coat is based very heavily in deaign off of the one the main character in a 1960's Western film called 'The Great Silence' wears.

About a year and a half ago, I reached out to a custom coat maker and inquired about making a replica of John's coat. We worked back and forth about materials, the stitching accent and liner, studied photo shots and images of John's version and the film version, and I received word today that it was finished and these are the result photos.

What do you think gentlemen, does it capture the John Marston look? I personally look forward to climbing up a snowy mountain while having it on and a gunbelt buckled at the hip

Thank you my friend, yes it definitely will need some good breaking in and dirtying up to look like the dusty and stained version of John's. I was quite pleased with the stitching placement they did. It's made to wear and move in not just a cosplay piece. I told them I wanted a sturdy outdoor coat modeled after his. I had his vest commissioned as well, it will be finished up soon they said

Not 1/6 - not interested!
I don't care about clothes. I don't wear any... I save all of that money for action figures...

Nah... looks real cool, man! (y)
;)

Genuinely gorgeous, I'm super jealous! I hope you wear it well, friend. :)

I shall call him Tim...

LIM John Marston 15.jpg

I went down a funny rabbit hole this morning, and found a missing bear and an unexpected squirrel.

When I was very young I had a hard cover comic book called Popol Out West, created in 1934 by Hergé of Tintin fame. My copy was the original 1969 English edition, which eventually fell apart and was at some point thrown away.

Every so often I'm reminded of it and go searching for a digital copy. Finally found one today under it's renamed titled, Peppy in the Wild West.

Popol and his wife, Virginia, were bears, and the Indians were rabbits.

During my search I discovered that Popol had his origins in the promotional serial, Les aventures de "Tim" l'écureuil au Far-West (The Adventures of Tim the Squirrel out West) that Hergé produced for L'Innovation, a large department store in Brussels. It was intended to encourage children's interest in the store and two pages were published every week in the free Thursday newspaper available at the store. It ran for sixteen weeks between 17th September and 31st December 1931.

So now, if this figure ever releases, I'll always think of that stuffed squirrel as 'Tim'. :lol

So is this figure happening? Are any of the Lim figures happening? I have had a couple ordered for a couple of YEARS now. I understand feelings were hurt by an underwhelming response from consumers but to just leave us all in the dark is wrong. Give us updates or at least confirm we’ve been burned so we can move on please.

No one knows.

If you no longer want to wait, you can request a refund from your retailer. Perhaps once retailers start complaining to LIM that they're losing money, that might spur them into action to provide updates. Posting here and asking for updates does not seem to have an impact.

Someone from LIM posted on their Facebook page a month ago that they were working on everything but were not going post anything unitl they are near release so people won't build up anxiety or backlash (my words not theirs) if they're original guess to release changed.

So they are working on stuff :)

Good question. Laid down a $50 deposit and 2 years later. NOTHING! You can't be doing business like that and expect people to come back around.

I would just appreciate knowing the figure is still in the works. I suppose my deposit does make me feel entitled to at least that, I’ll admit.
