I abandoned NECA because things kept breaking. NECA eventually had bad customer service for a few months and I moved on from them.

This does look nice though, but they release 59 different versions and hard to keep up and they break.

I've heard of the great NECA Breakage....but i have been fortunate. The only break I ever had was the child version of Michael Myers ages ago when they first were getting going. they used brittle clear plastic on his arm joints.

That’s just odd. First they reused the old cult classics Jigsaw parts and now it even bothering to make an Ultimate Hannibal? Such an odd move. I know they re-released some devil’s rejects or house of 1000 corpses figures for an anniversary but an iconic character like Hannibal really deserves better than a glorified re-release.

Didn't even bother doing the blue jumpsuit. What do you expect from those lazy bastards?
While I can't call them lazy or illegitimate, I too wish this would have been an Ultimate in his first meeting with Clarice. With some of his drawings as accessories. At least it serves a purpose for those who missed it first time around all those years ago.

I've experienced Neca breakage on a few figures, almost always in the hips. Neca has no customer service, your best hope would be to return it to the store and hope the next figure is okay. The Neca stuff I've bought in the past few years have improved greatly, I haven't experienced any breakage since they started using better hips.
Not much a fear with breaking here because that's a staction figure. Very lazy reissue. I will save my money.

They used to have great CS, once you got a hold of them they'd replace most current releases regardless of where you bought them.

But new NECA is weird. Idk where they got off track.

Beyond disappointing. NECA's been doing amazing work with their other horror figures. They couldn't throw these heads on a recolored Michael Myers body, at least?

Don't the turtles print money? You'd think they'd have the budget for something like this.

I was looking forward to a new Hannibal, disappointed it's not a real Ultimate.

Neca can make some great figures like the Universal Monsters and then they do something like this. :dunno

I get why people are mad at this. But this is a case where as someone who grew up in the early 2000s and seeing these cult classics figures on store shelves it gives me some nostalgia seeing this guy get re released. I do hope they release a ultimate version of him in the future. But at the same time i also hope they continue to re release these older figures too! i still have a lot of love for the more static figures

I stopped by my local Wal Mart last night. Evil Dead 2 Ash and Saw all gone, Hannibal hadn't sold a single figure. One ghost face Inferno was sold.
