No. Three. We said three, not six. CHOOSE!
Hmm.. very difficult. Especially because the pairing of any 3 figures would seem random when separated from a larger collection (Unless they share the same property).

I know the custom Ledger I'm putting together would definitely be #1

And then I'd have to choose 2 from my 3 favorite properties. Blade Runner, Breaking Bad, and Interstellar.

I guess,

Ledger, Walter White, and Officer K.

Very interesting threesome.

Actually, Walter goes well with Ledger Joker.

That's what Bladerunner (as a world) needs -- a singular great villain.
I feel that Blade Runner's world is too broad for any singular villain. Though I agree that a memorable villain might be what it needs.

What about you Wor? What's your pick?

A dangerous synth revolutionary gaining power world be perfect.

I haven't completely thought it through. I have a custom Indy that would make the cut. Maybe my bashed ANH Vader after that. But a third is so hard... Nicholson Joker... Ledger Joker... my custom Toht... DX Sparrow... or maybe even the latest best 1/6th: InArt Aragorn...

The last one is the toughest.

Its what I was going for personally. I collect DC, Star Wars, and Videogame figures, so just picked the 3 I thought represented each of those the best. Though I did just get Vader and Batman last week, recency bias was strong with me.

Once I swap out Leon to his RE4 counterpart, they'll at least all have being traumatized white boys in common.

I return to this thread only to find horror stories about the QC😢
Wonder if I should keep the figure or not when it arrives

Had to move unexpectedly and could only bring 3 figures, Batman was a no brainer. Still loving this piece.

Huh…Leon and Batman are the same height??

Did you shorten Leon? Out of the box he’s unusually tall IMO. I need to get serious one day and look up which shortened barbell joint and do a swap.

And hope the sudden move isn’t related to anything too serious.

I think you’re getting a bit overly concerned. When it arrives, check it out and if all things are in order, keep it, right?

However if there are some QC issues that doesn’t involve sending the entire figure back and a quick email to the vendor you purchased this from can take care of it for you, keep it.

But if it’s riddled with issues you don’t wanna waste any time to fix, sell it. I’m positive there are collectors that’ll still pay MSRP for it.

For every 3 people that received theirs and had QC issues ranging from major (the arm on Scout’s figure…that’s a big one) to minor (missing triangular ring on the belt)…you’ll have 4 that didn’t experience any problems.

I own 2 of the premium. Both have no issues.

Obviously I’m not trying to downplay anyone else’s QC problems and I truly hope they get theirs sorted out. I’m just saying to take the wait and see approach. Opening it to inspect won’t devalue it and affect its re-sale if that is a concern. I’m sure you can make your money back.

“Now’s not the time to panic. That comes later…”

😁

Yeah I've shortened Leon to another damn body, with shorter ankle pegs. Puts him at 11.9 Inches (exactly where he should be).

Thanks for the concern, nothing too serious, just long distance relationship stuff. Only 2 and a half hours away from home.

Yeah it looks like he got the shortened treatment…looks good!

And man, hope it gets sorted out sooner than later. Regular 2 and a half hour commute takes its toll. 😫

This has fully convinced me to pick up a HT body to snag some of its parts

I did try the HT chest piece too but prefer the InArt one.

When I get some time I’m going to strip the InArt down again and remove the suit to pad the arms. They are ridiculously skinny.

A lot I like on the InArt and having the sculpt in hand it REALLY highlights the issues with the HT. The unboxing experience for my first InArt was amazing too. Really puts HT to shame and feels very ‘special’. Other than a bent right cowl ear and a slightly squeaky joint (perhaps not 100% range of motion - not sure yet) on the right arm/shoulder, I’ve been QC issue free so very lucky.

I must admit though, aside from the various issues with the HT, it doesn’t compete destroy a slightly modded one from a massive height like I presumed it would although proportions are vastly superior.

Main reason I switched the gauntlets was the undeployed grapnel gun parts keep falling off at the slightest movement.

Have to be honest too I simply don’t get the problems with setting up the belt. It’s very simple to do. Just lengthen it as much as possible, invert the clip and then tighten it.
