First Impressions:

1. This feels very premium. The box is amazing and well-designed. Numbered out of 280.
2. You get a lot for the price. Three great head sculpts for each figure and a ton of accessories for Van Helsing. The coffin looks luxuriant, but I haven't really inspected it much yet.
3. Van Helsing is the best figure. The tailoring of his jacket/suit is fantastic. All three head sculpts are equally great.
4. Kaustic Plastik has really improved their paint apps too. I opted to use both exclusive sculpts on my figures, but I'll definitely be swapping these heads occasionally! I appreciate the range of expressions KP has given us.
5. I had a single issue: one of Van Helsing's gripping hands had a finger that wasn't quite separated from the thumb, so I had to use an X-ACTO to slice it. Solved the issue quickly.

Favourite is still the snarling/open mouth sculpt - may try to put together another body so I can display both sculpts.

I finally got around to unpacking my set last night. What a pain in the balls to set up and futz! Overall I would give the set a solid 8/10. Thoughts:

VAN HELSING
- The coat is amazing, I want a blanket or stuffed animal made from that material to sleep with at night.
- The legs on my figure were noticeably different lengths so I ended up having to take his shoes and pants off to see what was going on. You could physically see that one leg was longer for some reason. Ended up using brute force to get the area at the top of the leg where the thigh swivel meets the ball to push in together a little more. This took about 45 minutes of my 2 hours unboxing.
- While a nice touch, I could have done without the real laces on the shoes. They just seem a big large and out of proportion to me.
- Something is a little off with the tailoring of the pants, they seem a bit baggy and long, especially compared to the Dracula figure. Spent some time hiking them up as far as I could.
- Of the three portraits, I think the standard with the hat is my favorite, followed by the regular sculpt. The sculpt with the hat looks the most gaunt/angular to me, which seems most accurate to even a younger Cushing. The angry sculpt looks a lot better in person but still probably my least favorite.
- Spent a lot of time futzing with the shirt, tie, and vest because out of the box everything is really pushed down towards the base of the neck. The biggest tell for me visually that these are dolls is the size/thickness of both figures' shirt collars, which I know is difficult at 1/6 scale.
- The bulk of the clothing tends to want to push the sculpt forward to look down.
- Don't love the amount of press studs and worry about breaking them, but I guess I prefer them to real 1/6 buttons? I left the coat and suit jacket undone for the time being.

DRACULA
- The cape is an absolute pain to work with. I thought the Kenobi Vader cape was overly thick and annoying to futz, and this cape was way thicker than that one. I have the red-lined cape on order and am curious if it will be any better.
- The open-mouth bloody sculpt is by far my favorite, followed by the regular edition sculpt. The resting face sculpt is good but looks a little softer to me in both paint and sculpt.
- The most impressive part of the whole set to me are Dracula's hands, the paint and sculpt are really impressive. Maybe the best 1/6 hands I've seen?
- The casket is fine, its basically just white plastic. It will probably stay in the box for me, though it does fit laying down in a detolf.

OVERALL
These are my first KP figures and it definitely encourages me to buy more stuff from them in the future. The tailoring is excellent overall, except for the collar areas and Van Helsing's baggy pants. His overcoat is the best coat I've ever seen in 1/6 scale. The quality of the sculpts vary, some seem much more detailed/crisper than others. The bloody, open-mouth Dracula sculpt is as good as any Hot Toys figure I've ever owned, or my InArt Gandalf. I love that they leaned into the asymmetrical features of both actors, like giving them both crooked noses, which is something Hot Toys tends to minimize in their sculpts. I do think the paint is still a step behind Hot Toys, particularly in the eyebrows, hair, and hairlines. The hair sculpt could also be a lot better, it does remind me of some of my EXO-6 figures hair.

Last thing is that I don't love the magnetic bases as much as I expected to. They are stronger than my InArt Gandalf, but there are still exact spots on the base where the feet grab the best. On both it seemed like positioning the figures at a bit of the angle gave the best grip. I have a 3-year old running around so I do worry a bit about their stability. I tried to pick the cabinet that I've seen her slap the least, so they are in with some of my Star Wars figures for now.
